Action of Navoban:

Tropisetron is a drug used in the prevention of nausea and vomiting associated with chemotherapy. Receptors that are found on neurons in the nervous system and organs are affected by the drug.Chemotherapy agents cause vomiting by releasing serotonin from cells of the small intestine, which is detected by the nervous system. Tropisetron's antagonism of the receptors at the nervous system helps prevent and treat this nausea and vomiting.
