Indication of Navoban:
Navoban is used by patients to prevent nausea and vomiting caused by surgery and cancer chemotherapy.Action of Navoban:
Tropisetron is a drug used in the prevention of nausea and vomiting associated with chemotherapy. Receptors that are found on neurons in the nervous system and organs are affected by the drug.Chemotherapy agents cause vomiting by releasing serotonin from cells of the small intestine, which is detected by the nervous system. Tropisetron's antagonism of the receptors at the nervous system helps prevent and treat this nausea and vomiting.Dose advice of Navoban:
Navoban can be given by injection or intravenous drip under medical supervision.Navoban capsules should be taken with a full glass of water at least one hour before food. It is preferable to take it in the morning one hour before breakfast.Schedule of Navoban:

All medicines have side effects. Some side effects can be serious, but the most common ones are mild. Common side effects occurring in more than 1% of patients prescribed Navoban include:- Abdominal pain and discomfort
- Diarrhoea
- Dizziness
- Fatigue
Uncommon side effects of Navoban:
These are side effects that occur in less than 1% of patients. Do not be alarmed by this list: patients will not necessarily experience any of these:Allergic reactions have also been reported, characterised by:- facial flushing
- Hives
- Chest tightness
- Shortness of breath
- Hypotension
