Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome

Hi

I recently went to the doctor as I have started to lose my hair. Although no patches have formed yet there are places where it is very thin.

I am going soon for an ultrasound, so I am not 100% sure that I have PCOS, but my doctor seems to think I do.

My question is if I do have PCOS and I start to get treatment, will the hair grow again or is the hair loss permanent?

I was diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome at the age of 27. I've just turned 33 and still continue to have acne breakouts even though I take the pill, Yasmin on a regular basis. I never had acne until I was 27 and soon found out I had poly cystic ovarian syndrome. How long can this condition last, am I doomed to have acne and poly cystic ovarian syndrome until my cycle ends sometime in my 50's?....
