Zaditen

Zaditen is a brand of eye drops used to relieve the symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis. The active ingredient is ketotifen.

Zanamivir

Zanamivir is a drug used in the treatment and prevention of influenza type A and B viruses, including avian influenza and swine flu. Zanamivir is currently marketed as Relenza.

Zidovudine (Retrovir Capsules and Syrup)

Zidovudine (Retrovir Capsules and Syrup) is used in patients for the treatment of HIV infection including pregnant women to prevent transmission to neonates. It is also used to as a preventative measure protecting patients exposed to HIV.

Zinc

Good sources of dietary zinc are similar to those of iron. They include red meats, poultry, beans and nuts. Oysters are the richest source of zinc.

Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome

Zollinger-Ellison syndrome is a rare condition in which excessive gastric acid leaves the stomach as a result of pancreatic cancer. Individuals with this condition often also have peptic ulcers.
