Overview:
Cisplatin is a non cell-cycle specific chemotherapeutic agent. It is a platinum-based compound that works by producing links within and between DNA strands, which modifies the structure of DNA and prevents the production of new DNA. This leads to prevention of cell division and eventual cell death. For a spreadsheet schedule of the regime, Cisplatin D1-5, please click here.
