What is The Colorectal Foundation
The Colorectal Foundation was formed in 2000 by a group of senior Australian Colorectal Surgeons who recognised the need for continuing research into particular areas of their speciality.Vision and Mission
The Vision To reduce the incidence of colorectal cancer amoung men and women alike in Australia. The Mission The Colorectal Foundation was established to facilitate optimal care for the management of Colorectal problems in the community. The Foundation aims to:- Raise the level of awareness in, and to provide public education to, the community regarding colorectal disease and disorders.
- Provide a forum for continuing medical education for medical practitioners, nursing and other paramedical colleagues.
- Raise funds for research into evolving technologies, new treatments and best practices.
